Although Terra City is a worldwide premier as such, there are certain projects somehow 'similar' from one viewpoint or another, which prove once more its feasibility and extraordinary potential. Here are two significant examples:

1. They took a wild mountain 100 miles North of Montreal and transformed it into MONT TREMBLANT RESORT – one of the largest tourism projects in North America.

MONT TREMBLANT, (August 10, 2004) – The president and chief executive officer of Intrawest Corporation, Mr. Joe S. Houssian, and the president of Mont Tremblant Resort, Mr. Michel Aubin, confirmed today a $1-billion expansion over the next ten years to develop Mont Tremblant Resort’s Versant Soleil and Versant Nord by Intrawest and its partners. In the tradition of the Versant Sud, which was developed between 1991 and 2004, this is the largest tourism project currently underway in North America.” Jean Gosselin, Mont Tremblant Resort

2. “Bilbao, Spain, was a downtrodden coastal city until the Guggenheim's postmodern complex was opened in 1997. The museum has turned into one of Europe's top cultural attractions, lured hordes of visitors and proved a major economic fillip not just to the city but the surrounding region in northern Spain—generating roughly $1 billion in income for the area over the last seven years.” Newsweek International

“The project was launched in 1991 when Basque regional government representatives approached Thomas Krens, director of the New York City-based Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, operator of Guggenheim's two modern art museums in New York as well as Peggy Guggenheim's extensive collection in Venice. Aware that Krens was in search of a site to expand internationally, the Basques offered Bilbao. "I was a little skeptical at first," Krens told Maclean's, "but it did not take long to convince me, particularly after the Basque authorities agreed to pay the $150 million [U.S.] construction costs, $50 million for new acquisitions and $20 million for the use of Guggenheim's name and administration." Maclean's November 3, 1997
