The financing structure
The Terra City project is being developed as a self-financed venture. A limited partnership will be created to promote and manage the development of the project and people from all over the world who relate to the purpose and spirit of this project will be able to invest in building a better world.
The initial investment will be approximately 5 million dollars, which will cover the land cost, surveyor, water and soil tests, the infrastructure plans, the fund for the Terra City Prizes and the promotion and administrative costs.
The Terra City Fundation (TCF) will acquire a piece of land of about 1000 acres on which the International and the Hosting Villages will be developed. Once the development of the project started, TCF will subdivide the land of the Hosting Village and will offer the parcels for sale to companies in the tourism industry to build hotels, motels, residential buildings, houses, restaurants, stores... to accommodate the visitors coming from all over the world.
The funds resulted from the sale of the land of the hosting Village will be used to reimburse the initial investment with dividends and the pay for the infrastructure work of the International Village.
Given the nature and purpose of the Terra City project, the financing of the project will be completely transparent: the project account will be open to the public, who will be able to verify at any time the revenues and expenses in the development process of the project.
This way, the public opinion worldwide will rest assured that Terra City is not at all a commercial project but indeed a sustainable development project that respects its environmental, humanitarian and multicultural vocation.
